not sure if it will follow this format,
but a lot of bluray releases do:

• High-Fidelity Pure Audio
• Playable on Blu-Ray player or PS3 console
• Audio taken from original master tapes and delivered in 24bit/96 khz
• 2.0 DTS and PCM Mixes
Decoding LPCM stream (track 2): Bitrate: 4608Kbps Sample Rate: 96KHz Channels: 2 Bits per sample: 24bit
Decoding DTS-HD stream (track 3): DTS-96/24 core Bitrate: 1536Kbps core + MLP data.Sample Rate: 96KHz Channels: 2 (DTS Master Audio 24bit)
Decoding TRUE-HD stream (track 4): AC3 core+TRUE-HD. Peak bitrate: 3366Kbps (core 640Kbps) Sample Rate: 96KHz (core 48Khz) Channels: 2
that's how 'the hurting' came.

mostly likely you can rip it, but it will probably use BD+ encoding.
i expect that the bluray version masters are the source for the
other remasters.
