I didn't know he was on "Cleveland" either... I watched like one episode, and didn't really like it (I'm totally burnt out on "Family Guy" as well)
as far as David Lynch being a "serious" director - you should also check out his 'absurdist comedy' called "On the Air" that he did while filming "Twin Peaks" -> it's weird, and kinda slapstick too...
but now the big question - How can you get a PROPER copy of the song?
