i cant hook anyone up considering watermarks, but seeing as how i usually obsess whenever they have a new album out, this one is surprisingly easy to ignore. it's packed with melodies, dials down the beats, and paints a great picture overall, but it feels like it's because they're professionals, which by itself isnt that interesting. theres very little thats unexpected here.

autechre themselves mention that they're used to how people dont really get along with their records when first released, only to warm to it by the time the next one comes out, so i guess thats where i am. usually i get it right away and get excited and write long embarassing posts about it somewhere.

i think ross will pretty much fall in love tho.
