Anyone seen him on his current tour or in the past?

He's going to be in Portland on Friday and I'm debating whether to attend or not.

Reviews, impressions and commentary would be appreciated.

yeah, go see him. i saw him on his latest tour. intense and
spectacular. exceeded all expectations.

The show is sold out, but I managed to get a ticket via craigslist. I'm excited.

Wait. You expect him to face the crowd? er, well, he was shaking his head side to side a lot. so, somewhere in that for a split second he may have been facing the crowd.

The show wasn't bad at all. He spent part of the show facing the crowd, part of the time he had his back turned. During the final song, a cover of Ace of Spades by Motorhead with his female vocalist on lead Tricky left the stage and worked the crowd hugging people and thanking them for attending. It was a bit odd and amusing to have Tricky come up to me, give me a big hug and say thank you and then move on to the next group of people. Surprisingly no one was rushing up to him either. Maybe it was just the crowd.

He was playing a show in 104 in Paris last January... and i got a ticket... it said on the ticket "Show starts at 8.30"... got there at 8 and it was over...

.... no idea what happened and the DJ's that played after him were simply god awful...
