"How Bizarre" (OMC from NZ) is all I can say about the latest listening reco' from Karl. And while I'm here, "Andy Goldsworthy" is all I can think about when confronted with those tired looking "stick" photos...

"Stick doing this" bleedin' "Line doing that" Pompous and derivative

But having got all that off my chest. The marker scrawled images are fresh and, your music, well... it's ok I suppose.

look, i'm not saying the stick things are something to think about, but they're just dailies. it's like trying to knock on someone for going outside, enjoying the air... so obviously played out. done billions of times already. gah, get something new already, quit enjoying yourself it's so pompous and everyones done it.

andy goldsworthy is great, you got that much right. slating UW for posting those pics? i'm not sure they're claiming it to be high art or some conceptual breakthrough.

maybe the Crystal Method forums are open again.

And it's not like UW are trying to appear artsy-fartsy. They do their thing in such a modest manner, only made available to those people that care, never pushed for more attention or artificial fame. Karl does the sticks thing for a few hundred fans perhaps. That's the art of being UW.
