dunno about anyone else but i'm bored with the 'music scene' in general at the moment. there's nothing to float my boat at the moment:( ....maybe it's just me......or is it?

rog, i would like to add that your dissatisfaction with the "music scene" may be deeper than that. i do go through patches of being bored with music and feel lost and dissatisfied with pretty much everything in my life. it's times like those that i like to wrap myself in the warm cocoon of an old favorite album and reconnect with my musical roots. there is so much good music that each of us has never heard that it's a matter of time before you hit a rich vein of amazing sounds. revisit some of your favorites, take a weekend day and grab a stack of cd's you've never heard of at the local shop and listen to them, put yourself in a new place or favorite environment and put on one of your favorite lps.

you'll bust out of your slump in no time

If we start at 01.01.07(forgive me, it's not raining and I'm having a psuedo ride). For me, this year started with a bang: Skinny Puppy and NIN months within each release makes me think I might have an addition to music. And that's just the underground.

Seeing Booka Shade live in between was an excellant appetizer.

I think it's the high quality that has disturbed your fix Mr. Rog. We know what's to come.

It's not just you. I have had it too for quite a long time actually. But now I'm actively searching for new releases and there's really some fresh stuff coming out. Also, I love the fact that I'm witnessing the growing of the new-born genre called Dubstep. I should get more stuff from that, though.

trawling through the dance music websites for new tunes all i get is electro crap.....i.e. not even good electro just real shabby stuff:( .

ah well, just listening to the Foo fighters 1st album and dont feel so bad now;)
