Black - Wonderful Life / Tomato founder
Just listening to Karl's BBC Radio 6 interview and learned that the guy from Black was one of the people who founded Tomato with Rick and Karl. I used to love the song Wonderful Life but never went deeper into the Black (har har).
While I was exploring his catalog on Discogs, I noticed some typography that looks very familiar. Check it out: http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=677996 Box set version is cool too: http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=2211507 CD Single: http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=1538182 |

Re: Black - Wonderful Life / Tomato founder
hey, it was 1987, the sax was a respectable vehicle for emotional delivery.

These designs certainly seem to be predecessors to the Dubnobass and Born Slippy packages specifically. Well spotted.

That first one has design and art direction credits from Warwicker and Wood
