Well, unfoundsound is a netlabel that releases mostly minimal house/techno produced using samples from field recordings etc. I think it's pretty cool, especially because this V/A is a nice mix of new talent and bigger names like Bruno Pronsato, Jay Haze and Vivianne Project.
Of course if you don't like that minimal quirky sound I guess you don't have to bother downloading it :)

unfoundsound is that focused on field recordings? most of the releases i've hear don't sound that way

not strictly focused on field recordings I think. But it is strictly sample based AFAIK, use of synths is allowed but a track has to contain samples recorded by the artist. But I might be mixing unfoundsound up with Archipel, cos that label requires artists to use samples from the sample packs they provide.

unfound has the unfields collection but i was totally unaware of that restriction. next time i see mike uzzi i'll have to ask
