compile the chill UW

Usually i'm not big on the "chill-out" sorts of compilations, or even ambient electronic music, for that matter. But lately, i've been enjoying the lusher side of Underworld, and would like to collect some of the most beautiful, lesser-played lower tempo tracks. Here's where i start:

Cups (Salt City Orchestra Remix)
Jumbo (remix from 12-15-05 Lemonworld radio broadcast)
Mosiac
Tiny Clicks
Back in the Fears
Biro The Leggy
Sappys Curry

What would you add? I think the first two belong together.:)

yeah i did one of these too when i first rejoined dirty...i even have the mix cd upstairs somewhere...80 minutes of UW Chill....

a lot of these 'help with my compilations' obviously got wiped out with the repress of dirty.forums

off the top of my head though - you should have the ambient mix of simply red's thrill me remix - its basically Underworld with a couple of moans from the Ginger Huck, also the opening 2 minutes of so of Rob Dom & Goldie's - Shadow remix by Rick smith are pretty ambient and chilled out, kind of a nice way to open any chill album i think - just cut it before the beats kick in, and there are two mixes of Born Slippy well worth including, Warb's Born Sleepy remix and Ricks Ambient down remix from 2003...

Re: compile the chill UW

Oh, man, I can't believe I didn't think of "Most 'ospitable" first. That's like the most suitable choice. Also "River of Bass" and "Minneapolis (Airwaves)" could be considered, if you're in a more minor-key mood.

Re: compile the chill UW

Thanks for the suggestions and vintage dirty input, too!
Most "ospitable should definitely be in there, along with Like a Swimmer... can't believe i forgot them! i think i'm leaning toward the slightly melancholy for this comp.

I can. To put it on a chill out cd is a bit unfeasable due to its length. Its 20mins long. It would make more sense to put Second Hand on there as it is essentially an edit of Thing In A Book.

Telematic Peal
Best Mangu Ever

But I agree that Ansum is epic, it should be there for sure, its long, maybe some elements from it...

Re: compile the chill UW

Ive just done a mix over on Craft with elements of Underworld. The first part of Ansum is gorgeous.
Also its a pity there isnt a studio version of Simply Distinctive as that has so much atmosphere...

BTW, for the noobs who dont have Warb's legendary Born Sleepy mix: http://soundcloud.com/warbgasm/bornsleepy

Possibly the best fan mix ive heard until Professor's Bird 1 remix (although Play Pig (Grandbrother's Thin Skin Mix) is damn good).

Its where my signature comes from. http://www.beatportal.com/feed/item/...winning-remix/

(though they have fixed it now - it did originally say - and professor did actually say "never failed to disappoint me" :p)
