Kruder & Dorfmeister - The K&D Sessions
 

I have yet to buy this record but I can enjoy it on mp3 for now anyway, and I have to say: Wow!!!

Most trip-hop/loungy things are very boring and risk-less but this is just really sweet and sexy. After the 90's being the "golden age" of music for me, since 2000 there are only very few albums released that really compare to that golden age, but this is definately one of them.

What do you think of this?

For a while, I absolutely adored this album...but I find it hasn't aged well with me. Lately, when I put it on, I feel that it's appeal is almost completely gone, which I don't really understand (that doesn't happen to me very often).

Anyway, for a very long time I also have the K&D remix of Gregory Isaacs - Night Nurse which is so fucking gorgious!!! It's a shame that song is not on the K&D Sessions, because it would fit in perfectly on there! Same vibe.

Edit: whoops, I just noticed the album is from 1998, I thought from 2000 or later. My bad.

Yeah I picked this up just recently since it was on sale for 10 euro's at free record shop over here. What can I say, it's really good and if you don't have it yet, you should get it asap.

Yeah I got this. I also like their DJ Kicks one which is now budget cd i think.

Leon: I saw it as FRS too for cheap. I think it was still about 25e in Plato tho. Online its available for £10.49 from PowerPlayDirect delivered tho.

I'll have to go check my local FRS. A long time ago I saw it in the racks there too but I didn't know who they were back then. I hope it's still there. I really hate feeding FRS's moneybags but it will be the easiest way to get it.

Check out the Peace Orchestra album and remix album. They're decent, too.
