I'm finding the boxset to be amazing. Nowhere near able to post my full thoughts yet, but the book is phenomenal, and many of the tracks for me sound even better, and more cohesive. I'm hearing sounds I didn't pick out on the downloads, and really enjoying some tracks that didn't do it for me at first listen.

However, I really came here to ask if the misterons melodicgroovesfortwistedfloors mix that came with the download was something else in the inbetween releases, as I can't recall hearing it before, and a quick count suggests 19 WOUW releases, but there's 20 files on my download.

So is it a bonus? Or did I miss one? Or did it have another name?

I only have 19 files in my download. There is no Soniamode (Aditya Game Version) included in my zip file.

Misterons melodicgroovesfortwistedfloors mix is the same track as The Misterons WOUW Mix 13-12-18 that was the first non-EP Drift release.

My biggest realisation from all this is that I really needed to pay attention to these tracks week-by-week, as trying to take the whole thing is a nightmare. I've had the lot of shuffle on my phone for a couple of weeks now and there are still tracks I barely recognise. Going to take a long time before I begin to feel like I 'know' these tracks. Whatever form series 2 takes, I'm going to try and take it all in as it comes along.

Anyone else having issues with the Sound of Vinyl download? I've downloaded the 5.77GB .zip file twice now - but getting an error when trying to unzip it on a Mac. Trying several unarchiving tools and it's only showing 13 tracks, Did the download change or is it just me?

I'm pretty sure you can't use the built-in decompressor. macOS's tools have problems with archives over 4 GB. They don't implement the zip64 standard properly. I think you need to use something like Stuffit Expander, The Unarchiver, Keka, or BetterZip.

The Unarchiver and Stuffit Expander both were unsuccessful.
WinZIP for Mac worked.

Threw the shipping box for my box set in the recycling bin, but took a few days to unwrap the box set itself. Don't see any part of the box set signed or numbered so I'm guessing I threw something out with the shipping box by mistake! Probably number 001 and all. :rolleyes:


Don't really care though. Still getting lost in the music and the book. :)
