The single CD and the vinyl are available for order on AmazonUK - but no sign of the box set.

Is there any word about the general availability of the box set from other retailers?

I'll try to find out, but I'm guessing box set, colored vinyl, and signed CD are exclusive to uwlive.

Indeed. I'm hoping the album includes reworkings of a selection of UWs favorites from the series, so that the LP holds together as a cohesive, thematically connected whole, not just a compilation. Something different would be cool, since hardcore fans will have all the EPs. Then again, a compilation suits a more casual audience fine.

this might be a bit much to expect, but wouldn't it be NEAT if they melded appleshine and its continuum version to make a 20 minute monster of sorts? we already have the 47 minute stretch, and appleshine itself has always felt just a biiiit too one-note to stand up on its own, but would be a great glue for the more jammy sections...? probably getting ahead of myself.

im not looking fwd to the album as much as I am the individual episodes. I mean i feel like it'll be the third time I've bought the same song - and will contain songs ive already been listening to for the better part of a year.

Exactly my point in post above that hopefully the album will include something different from the episode releases...I dunno, remixes, extended versions, alternate takes, more production on some of the more basic tracks. Probably will just be a best-of compilation, but we can dream!

well the press release does say it "expands and enhances a selection of the recordings from the DRIFT Series since it began in November 2018.". a number of these tracks already have multiple versions. so that leads me to believe it'll be more than just a compilation.

yeah true. and I don't mean to sound like I'm putting it down. I'm not. Its just that im so excited for each Thursday that the idea of a compilation in 6 months isn't hitting me in the same way.

we're gonna need to all take our guesses in a few months as to what will make it on the album.
