Talked to the gallery, and the release party is on Thursday, but it is a private function, invitation-only. That's when Karl and/or Rick will be there, and I assume it will be after the gallery closes.

Edit: Found this picture of the invitation. Reception from 5-10 PM. RSVP Invitation only though. Interesting that it says it's a "CD/DVD" release.

Songs for Tibet is now available on the iTunes Store worldwide. You can purchase "To Heal (And Restore Broken Bodies)" separately for US$0.99, £0.79, ¥150, etc.

The song is 256 Kbps DRM-free AAC. The physical CD release will happen next week, Aug. 12. It will also be available as 256 Kbps MP3 on Amazon MP3, but not until Aug. 12.
