The sheet glued to the back is usual meant to be detached, hence not fully glued down. I usually get rid of the glue and keep the sheet tucked inside the boxset.

I don't really know what they should be called (to me they all feel like albums in there own right!), but on the back of the box set they are called EP's (CD1 - Ep1 DUST, CD2 Ep2 ATOM, etc).

Yup, Ep for Episode.

If I were writing up a discography for UW, I'd just put them (and the RiverRuns) under EP's, but UW have never explicitly labeled any of those as EP's.

Hey, longtime lurker here. I've been waiting for a while to order the boxset from the Underworldlive store, and finally have the $$ to do so.

I didn't see anything about a signed/numbered set in the promo copy about the release. Is every box set fulfilled by the Underworldlive store signed, or was that a limited number that is now sold out?

If it's the same set as will be available here in the US commercially, I might just wait and get it in-store and save some shipping fees.

Yeah, the signed/numbered were only available for a couple weeks before it sold out. There’s no reason to buy it from the UW store at this point, as their international shipping rates are expensive.

I noticed that importcds.com has it for $68 (not an import, despite the site name). Keep in mind that the US release date is Dec 20, so you won’t get it till later if ordering from US retailers. If you want it sooner, then you have to import. Amazon UK might be cheaper for that than UW store.

I got #187, but I was expecting / hoping the box itself was signed, not just the sheet. Anyway, really nice box set and loads to read.
Code isn't working for me either ...

The box set is the exact same size as the 1992 - 2002 4 x 12" box

just chiming in to say that this Drift series is absolutely awesome. It's really funny how week-to-week I'd think to myself "well this doesn't sound particularly like UW" but in the context of the full album(s) its allllll UW. I can't believe how much good stuff came out of this. It's pretty much all I've been listening to. My biggest surprise is that tracks I'd skipped during the past year, are now becoming favorites.

Sadly taking the backsheet off damaged my box. The glue took some of the paper with it, so be extra extra careful

I tore the back of my Second Toughest box (the first deluxe one I bought) so I've been incredibly careful ever since. Still not sure why they don't just print the tracklist on the back.

The back sheet was tacked down yesterday, but pretty much fell off the box on its own this morning. Give it a little time before taking it off, maybe?

Just got the boxset download code to work following some back and forth with Sound Of Vinyl support.

The download is a 5.4gb zip file with all the additional, non-physical release tracks that UW put out on Thursadys over the year - such as Coming Out Of Texas, Sydney Hotel room Peal etc - all in 24/48 wavs. Awesome!

I'm guessing they didn't know the tracklisting when they got the box in production - might be a good cost management operation?

I do want to find out if they happen to have a spare outer boxes I can get posted to me - but who would I contact?

Got my box and I’m number 76.

Same issue with the back cover seemingly not glued down. I’ve kept the cardboard tube in it as a protector. Hopefully able to redeem the download code later on and hopefully for more than the sampler.

Interestingly, the booklet cover is pink where the unboxing Video has it in yellow.

It's at the bottom of the red sheet with the tracklist on one side and the steam powered man words on the other.

The download is 5:42:56 in total, bringing the complete audio contents of the box set to a few minutes shy of 12 and a half hours. Including the BluRay, the full thing amounts to a smidge over 16 and a half hours. Plus an 80 page book. That's an almost unfathomable amount of material released in the space of a year.

Mine was at the bottom of a signed red insert with text from the 'Steam powered man' poem on one side and a tracklisting on the other. It was included in the Drift Series 1 CD box set that I pre-ordered from the UW store.

F--k me. I knew I should've gone for the boxset and not just the digital downloads. Man, if that Romford 98 live rehearsal is a part of it in HD WAV, I'm curling up in a corner forever. Also, man, that Pearls Girl jam would be amazing in 24 bit.

The tracks are in release date order. The first six digits of the filenames are YYMMDD. e.g. 190516_Pearls Girl Jam 080624.wav

The 6 digit numbers at the start of the wav filenames look like the release dates from through out the year to me

It's all there - the Romford '98 rehearsal, the Pearl's Girl jam, the Leipzig Warehouse jam. Getting all this in 24-bit WAV's is worth the cost of the box by itself and these are just "nice bonuses" on top of the wonderful Drift material.

I wasn’t going to bother with the boxset, as I bought the digital episodes individually and don’t really want a physical set of discs, but this just became an instant purchase! Unfortunately, I got a “This item is currently out of stock. Your order has been placed and will be dispatched once this becomes available” message, so I’ll have to wait :(

Would have been great if they sold a HD boxset download with all this material instead, but I’m still happy to be getting this in decent quality in any form!

it is a bit weird though right? there's no way to get the whole kit digitally if you bought the box set, when it seems obvious that it should come with it.

Yes, it's a bit odd. With the Vinyl you get a mp3 download, with the box set you get an mp3 or wav download of the sampler only and a wav download of the rereleases that were not in the box set.

I also prefer flac - my media player (Plex) does not support meta data in wavs so I have to convert them to flac anyway. It's a bit of effort to get all this content into a nice format on a media player.

It's a nice problem to have though :)

The vinyl comes with a download because you can't rip it. The box set comes with a download because the release was delayed, thus allowing people to at least have some of it (although why it wasn't the full thing I dunno). And yeah, the download code states it's for the bonus stuff, not the box set material itself. Which can of course be ripped.

Does anyone know if the Download Code is in all of the box sets regardless of where they were purchased? Or was this just for the box sets sold through the UW store?

deliberately didn't order from amazon. the difference in price to the store, even with shipping was minimal. plus the official store is potentially a way of displaying support to the band, rather than the tax dodging multi national.

So, box set is sold out. I wonder if there will be more later? If not... the only way to get it (as non-streaming digital download) is iTunes/Amazon digital?
