I bought myself some Body Shop sugaring compound for my legs today. Hurts like fuck but it is ecologically friendly. Especially if you buy the re-usable waxing strips made of fair trade egyptian cotton to use with it.

Jar of vaseline and bag of sugar(not entire contents, of course) massaged into your skin over a heat source(and of course thoroughly washed afterwards) has been done for centuries. It's as original as Levi's.

oh, and just the term in itself "minimal" is total crap [notice the absolute?] I mean... everything I've heard that's been labeled as "minimal" - I always think to myself "Um... how is this different than 'progressive' house or like anything that John Digweed used to play"

or dubno-era UW, Luomo, Gus Gus, etc etc

...that being said - I still like some minimal stuff.

As gay as is sounds, this is what many carpenters/builders use on rough hands over a stove as the heat source. Keeps their wives happy.;)

and yes LionJoe, scoop a hefty amount of petroleum(get your minds out of the gutter) into your palm, pour about twice as much sugar on top. It's best to melt the petroleum while working into your hands before sugar, but only if you have someone there to pour it on for you. Sounds kinky, but it's as innocent as gophers.
