May '96 I think.

Which venue do you think? Both the Concorde 2 and the Brighton Centre are available.

yep its the brighton centre - waiting for a link for tickets

maybe UW will set up a massive balloon dropin there...

there's plenty of scope to make the centre a great venue for UW to play at. hope it sells out!

I ordered my ticket via http://www.brightoncityfestival.com/tickets/index.php
Paid via paypal, received confirmation of payment by mail, but no sign of a ticket...

Has any one else ordered through this site? Had any issues?

I think I've got a pretty big group of mates going, you'd be welcome to join us..

I did a bit of looking into BCF to find that one Ish Ali (Formerly of Essential Entertainments/Essential Music AKA "Dodgy Fuckers") is involved at some level, I guess it's safe to say that some people have had problems in their dealings with him in the past but I expect that they are just waiting for the local universities to start up again in order to do a little more promotion before sending the tickest out.

If you are concerned you could contact them to find out what is happening... ish@brightoncityfestival.com ... worst case open a Paypal dispute and get the tickets elsewhere.

Thanks a lot for your feedback!

I already mailed that guy, plus another email address that came with the paypal confirmation...
Not heard back anything, so yeah I could dispute it, as I ordered another ticket via the ticketmaster.co.uk link you provided.

Looking forward to meeting you all there!

I'd suggest contacting Paypal stating that you haven't heard anything back with respect to your enquiries.

Got anywhere to stay in Brighton?

Anyone interested in a Brighton meet?

/me looks at b.s.s.

Really quite surprised to see this has not sold out!
So, on a whim, me and 2 mates have decided to go! Temptation was too great, especially when I saw the excellent Phil Hartnoll of Orbital fame is supporting with a DJ set and there is an afterparty that goes on until 8am that has free entry with the gig ticket!
Cheap, fast train to/from London, that start at 3.50am on the Saturday morning for the journey home.. so need to bed down in Brighton! Job Done!
Does now mean I will be seeing the mighty Underworld 3 times in 8 days.. Marvellous!!
