Yep - really starting to feel the buzz about this gig now.
Underworld once more back in Ireland - just fantastic.
Bring it on guys - it's been a long time coming...
Cant wait :)

There to reside & rock. To dance & smile & celebrate with sweat & that physical expression
of jamming that we feed off big time. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
Oh yes, getting sooo excited.

I'm going, as are (I can safely assume) Ninja Power and crazysugarboy. Utterly worked up about it now.
I'll not be at both though, just Thurs night. Stupid friend getting married on Friday, how bloody inconsiderate is that like. Pffft. Still thinking of heading abroad for another show at some stage though.

Yep - I've got tickets for Thursday's gig.
Still undecided to get tickets for Fridays gig though.
See, we're heading over to the UK to catch the Manchester and London gigs
as well (these were announced before the Dublin gigs) so we grabbed those
tickets first. Is 4 gigs in the space of 12 days over doing it?? never :)
As you can see October is Underworld month (gigs & new album) - and it's
my birthday the night of the Manchester gig, so things are really starting to
shape up now. Hey I might even get a shout out over the PA :p I doubt it too.

I don't suppose any odd/rare cd's will be on sale, but does anyone know what the merchandise is like?

In the U.S. there were two Oblivion with Bells t-shirts, one Crocodile-ish girl's T-shirt, and an Oblivion with Bells "program book" with photos and text and such.

Ok, ok, a setlist:
Nu Train
Cowgirl
Beautiful Burnout
King of Snake
Crocodile
Improv (?)
Glam Bucket
Can You Feel This Bass
Two Months Off
Kittens
Born Slippy
Pearls Girl
Moaner,
Jumbo (Encore)
All came to about 2+ hours.
Amazing gig, perhaps the best I've seen them. Got three hours sleep last night, just off the train home, I've a wedding to be at in OH SHIT 34 minutes and I've no shoes. No, really. (And don't worry, it's not *my* wedding.)
Philth was DJing there - played nothing but underworld in one of the rooms at the afterparty club next door to the venue, it was great. Tons of old b-sides and rare stuff, made for a great night.

What a night! I got to DJ before the band, watch an amazing gig, and then play all my favourite Underworld tracks to a crowd who loved them as much as me! I won't forget it in a hurry. Especially Karl giving me a big thumbs up at the end of my set. :)
No working for me tonight. This time I'm just a fan. Seconds out, round two.
Hello Porn Dog, and everyone else I met there too!

Sorry about that, suitably refreshed now.
Beautiful Burnout and Crocodile (even though I called it All These Things last night) were excellent.
I've never been mad on Two Months Off and Moaner on record, but in that environment last night they were amazing.
Hope everyone enjoys it tonight.
Thanks for the setlist Porn Dog.

lloyd, they ended Denver with Moaner and encored with Jumbo. May have also done this second night in SF.

yep - super night as usual.
The place was jam packed (almost too full).
Jumbo was just lovely at the end.
I think Rick, Karl & Darren were genuinely blown away by the reception
they received especially the encore at the end.
Thanks again Underworld :)
What's this about an after show party? How did I miss this? Was this open to the folks at the gig?

What's this about an after show party? How did I miss this? Was this open to the folks at the gig? The club night in crawdaddy with Backlash DJs & Philth was billed as the Underworld After party on the posters.
Thinking back, the new stuff played out really well, Glam Bucket especially. The entire gig was a tour de force, every track delivering something. The second half just blew the roof off the place. Moaner with just the black/white lights and strobes, what an intense experience. Magnificent.
And yeah, I want to know what happened last night too. Gutted I couldn't go. Might yet try to get in a gig elsewhere before the european leg ends.

Ah - I'm gutted I missed this after show party, ah well...
I'm really glad both gigs went down a storm.
"No one could imagine - as we assembled in the dressing room that the
second night in Dublin would be even more ecstatic than the first night (or
that it would be even hotter!)."

- see you in Manchester\London :)

they one thing i know to be wrong on SF1 setlist on their myspace is that they played "Kittens" and not "Spikee".
