The week tickets have now SOLD OUT for Sziget but the daily tickets are available and there will probably be some week tickets available at the gate at a higher price (120e vs 100e). I'll be going with a load of friends...

BTW, it says on the website that even if you buy a 1 day ticket that gives you the right to pitch your tent for the night! nice!

ok, just a quick question re: tix for the coming gigs in budapest and vienna. does anyone have 2 spare tix?? lloyd was so kind as to help me out in amsterdam, and my mate and i are pretty much hanging around in the czech republic waiting for the budapest show and then the vienna gig.

only problem is we're travelling and can't really have tickets sent to anywhere. so...if anyone knows of any pick-up locations for tickets (i THINK there's one for vienna, but i haven't found any for budapest), or if anyone is going and bought a few extras...please let me know ASAP!!

also, is anyone going? cause it was so great catching up with everyone in amsterdam, it would be cool to meet some more dirtys and rtsr people! we should get the 'we are dirty.org' banner made this time round :P

Mike, if you get to Budapest (Obudai island) before the gates open on tuesday (18:00), get there as early as possible then there will be week tickets available for 120e (if youre staying for the week, and i recommend it). Otherwise tickets are available everyday for 20e at the gate. Underworld headline on the Thursday!

I'm lookin forward to them and Anima Sound System who are the main support.

well, if youve heard this summer's tour you'll know that it was very rough around the edges at the beginning of July. By mid August they were sounding pretty good. I'm sure they just want to get it right, and MAYBE have a product on the shelves before the tour the USA. It would make sense because its not cheap to tour North America.

I was crushed when Orbital didn't do any U.S. shows before they retired, but I didn't curse them for it.
Orbital's farewell "tour" was pretty hastily arranged and they didnt really plan to play at all but they were offered Glastonbury one more time and a couple of other sweet shows. It was better than nothing and a lot of people flew to where they were playing just to see them. I was lucky enough to be there and though the gigs weren't the strongest theyve done, it was good to see them one final time.

As for Underworld, I'm getting sick of people's coming on here moaning that they aren't playing the USA. It takes a lot of money and effort to tour the USA and its commercial suicide to do it without a product in the stores. Be patient. It will happen. So until then, STFU and wait.

If anyone is a member of Orkut by the way, check out the Underworld community there that I run (3800 members and growing) and you'll see its full of Brazilians but they dont moan (well, not in English anyway) and Underworld have NEVER played there despite a large following.

Extra concert Underworld in 013

Wegens groot succes geeft Underworld op woensdag 9 november een extra optreden in 013 in Tilburg. De kaartverkoop voor deze show start aanstaande donderdag (29 september) om 10.00 uur. De show op 10 november is inmiddels uitverkocht.
De Britse elektronica act verzorgt op beide avonden een drie uur durende live show. Underworld werd vooral bekend door het album 'Second Toughest in the Infants' uit 1996 En de single ‘Born Slippy’ die een plek kreeg op de soundtrack van de succesfilm Trainspotting. Later verschenen nog de albums 'Beaucoup Fish' (1999), 'Everything, Everything' (2002) en 'A Hundred Days Off' uit 2002, wat het eerste album was dat oprichters Hyde en Smith als duo uitbrachten. In juli was Underworld nog met een live set op 5 days off te zien.

well to be fair to me, he does live in Holland...

but i'm looking into it...cost wise

(i've just come back from holiday and am a bit skint - having forked out about £3k on it, and i'm moving house in the next few days...excuses i know but to find £200 to see UW play in Europe is gonna be hard...)

i did drive all the way to Stratford and back to Gloabal Gathering just to see UW play though...so i have seen them this year thankfully....

i do really wanna see this 3 hour gig though....

Work is killing me right now, and November is always a busy month for us. I'm planning to come out Thursday night, landing in Brussels on Friday morning. See Brussels and Bruges on Friday (gotta do my tourist thing), Show on Saturday night/Sunday morning. 11am flight back that Sunday morning. Yes, it's a logistical nightmare (and a long way to come for a party), and I'm going to need extensive recovery once I'm back in the States, but I think it'll be worth it.

Yeah, sorry for the confusing sentence :o , I got a ticket for the 10th, even though i probably could not go (got important exam the 11th), when the second date was announced I got a ticket for that aswell, and now i sold the ticket that i first bought for the 10th.

And I bet most of that will be round the bloody ring road in Brussels, trying to get out.

I am sooooooo fired up about this now, I can hardly contain myself.

Looks like we will be arriving in Tilburg around lunch-time on the 10th if any Dirts want to meet up in the afternoon and get the party started early. (although some of you will still be hungover from the 9th, you lucky, lucky buggers) ;)

I ordered a Benelux road atlas online, and as soon as I have received it I will have it sussed. The last time I went to Tilburg, however, I was picked up from the Eurostar by a friend who had neglected to bring a map - havoc ensued! :p

And so far no new tour dates have been announced. I hope they'll come to Germany in the near future!
