Anyone interested in doing a compilation mix? I did this on another board a few years ago and it came out decent.
We'd make a list of participants and everyone would mix a song in. Maybe two songs depending on how many people we have.

Originals or remixes?
You know we did a compilation of original summertime tunes this year:

I don't necessarily mean original work. We'll just be making a continuous mix from whatever we have in our collection.

I'm down for it
it sounds like it could be pretty fun...

oh - I just got an idea...
what if whatever track we add, has to be like -
either a band/ performer that we only found out about via dirty
or a track itself that we discovered b/c of someone at dirty?

Sounds like fun! It will definitely be eclectic, that's for sure!
a technical question off the bat...i'm sure people have different software for their digital mixing...will we just keep tacking on tracks to a master wav or something that can eb uniformly loaded into ableton, traktor, or whatever program people want to use?
Reason i ask is i am super ultra low tech, and make mixes with CDJ and ACID!

i'd be interested if the process was a lot more clearly laid out (like if person 1 will be providing person 2 with the track they are using....what speeds or genres etc)
