Nice to hear you got the whole gig. Your mate was a nice enough bloke but too "vocal house" for my personal tastes. :D

it'd be good to have friendly faces around anyway!

to stick up for paul, he has to play for the crowd he gets to an extent; though i am pushing him more towards the darker side - but early in his set tends to be more 'swing-yer-trousers' type stuff... i was covering til midnight last week, and by 11.30 was getting hassled for 'songs that we know'!

it's his first night off in 9 months, which isn't bad going
