ok... I've kinda decided that I'm really lacking in my collection any 'classic' Chicago House or Detroit Techno ... like - I've got stuff by people influenced by those 'sounds' - but not much as far as the originals... know what I mean?

so can anyone recommend me any important / classic / worth seeking out tracks of either; or any good mixes, albums, etc

For Mid-period Detroit, run, don't walk, to pick up DJ Rolando's 'Aztec Mystic Mix'

Oscar Mulero is from Spain. He has that Detroit influence a little bit, though. Probably a whole lot harder than most 'tru' Detroit stuff though.

My favorite Detroit influenced europeans are Deetron, Fabrice Lig, Steve Rachmad, and Orlando Voorn.
