CLARK: NEW ALBUM "BODY RIDDLE" THIS AUTUMN

On an exciting day for us at Warp, it is our massive pleasure to announce the new album from Clark, entitled 'Body Riddle'.

The album begins with the track Herr Bar (which also featured on the Throttle Furniture 3" EP available in Warpmart here) and spirals off into uncharted yet beautiful territority to create undoubtedly Clark's strongest record to date.

Look out for the July Warpbot newsletter for more information about the release.

I really like Ultravisitor. I am stoked.

Plus his last tour was incredible.

The new Squarepusher track on the site is awesome. If the Clark stuff is like his mini EP he just released it should be all gravy. Saw Clarke support 65daysofstatic on their last UK tour and he was on fine form.

the new track on the site is AWFUL. recycling anstromm feck-4 like that... the worst part is that its limber play almost justifies it for a couple minutes before it collapses on itself and dissolves into unwritten seizures and pointlessness.

sigh.

can't wait to hear the whole thing though.

I agree. I went straight to the site excited to hear it, only to have my hopes destroyed in a matter of 2 seconds by that goddamn amen break (or at least I think it is, it's that same ubiquitous sample he uses all the fricken time). I'm still going to buy/listen to the whole thing though, because when he actually does bother to try different things they're generally pretty good. I liked Ultravisitor a fair bit.

Body Riddle is a blast.

thats the best word to describe it :)

I like the new Squarepusher track...the Anstromm-Feck 4 live on Do You Know Squarepusher was my favorite track of the lot. I'm afraid Hello Everything isn't really that great as a whole, but I do like that track...

Clark is good, bonus CD is better then the most of it though.

Squarepusher is touch and go imo, but still good. Bonus CD with that shold be left in pile marked, experimental and shit

Are you talking about this EP which is offered with every body riddle order ? If yes, I'm listening to it right now and enjoying it, but the album is far superior :)

Yer the one in the black mini disk style pack. I like that, been listening to that more then the proper album.

A friend lend me Hello Everything: the Squarepusher sound became more accessible & direct but I find it lags about this old deepness which was present on his previous work...
