so, i'm ready to write coherent sentences again after spending the weekend at Melt! Festival.
short review of the gig: It was alright. Not more and not less.
Considering that they spend more than 20 minutes setting up the visuals, they only used them in the second half of the gig and even then it was...well....a bit random to my mind. the thing i liked was that they played new songs, especially that new d&b song with the "visions" part. the first new song or improv was a bit too slow for my ears tho. the rest was more or less pleasing the masses, and after i've seen the tracklist of the HMH i know that festival gigs are always not as good singles shows. i also have to admit that nobody i spoke to said that Underworld was the act of the festival. anyway, i enjoyed it nonetheless.
Tracklist:
1. New Track (with guitar)
2. Cowgirl/REZ
3. Dark & Long/New Train
4. Pearl's Girl
5. New Track (Vision)
6. New Track
7. King Of Snake
8. Born Slippy.NUXX (including 2003-version)
---
9. Moaner (short version)
