Heard news sound bite today regarding the pending autopsy report that Penn was around 310-315 pounds. But I somehow find it difficult to believe that it was just his weight that contributed to his death, but you never know, it could have just been that.

Instead of running over too many times what demons killed him, if any at all, why don't we either mourn the dead or move on completely.

If it's not a tragedy because it was a drug overdose, or obesity, you need to check yourself entirely.

I haven't heard anyone suggest otherwise, Hal. (Sorry, still think of you as Hal :) )

Yes, Malt's tongue smiley could be interpreted that way, but I took it more towards his statement than towards Chris Penn or his death. And when someone dies, discussing how they died seems natural enough to me.

chris penn was spotted many a time here, at the last Toronto international film festival, looking completely fucked up...NOT just booze.
take a guy, that large...add 2 decades of booze and drug use...not very hard to understand how he " may " have died, or what shut his body down.
Chris Farley comes to mind.

Meh, why mourn Chris Penn? Not like we knew him or saw him in anything besides Reseviour Dogs. Live fast, die fat.

Well considering that this thread was formed to talk about his life and career, you can certainly choose to opt to not mourn him, by which you'd be avoiding the thread altogether. But to dig at it, say things like "if the autopsy report wasn't revealed it's drugs then" when autopsies take more than 2 days to complete, that crosses a line, you know, the whole "Say something nice or don't say it at all" thing... but then again, this is a forum where everything that happens is inconsequential, right? We're allowed to be total asses on here and let our inner bitch flail around, right?

So if I remind you that I lit your ass up a couple of months ago and called you a dick..... and then told you that my feelings haven't changed, then that doesn't matter either right? ;)

Wow I had no idea this was a thread dedicated to his life and career, if I knew that I wouldnt have called him fat and I would have lit a candle instead.

It's probable your feelings wont change because I enjoy setting you off. Thankfully we dont usually inhabit the same boards and I only get a chance every few months. ;)

Thankfully? You like setting me off; I like tearing into you. We should talk more, if anything. What other forums are you on?
