aside from Arrested Development, The Office is my favorite sitcom on TV right now... probably followed by Earl. Jason Lee plays a great white trash

Unfortunately (in my opinion) Jason Lee = Scientologist. I know that's kind of irrelevant, but it caused me to lose respect for the man.

Am I the only one who thinks this show is a bit over praised at the moment? Don't get me wrong, from what I've seen I enjoy it, but I'm not entirely sold on the show.

I think its ace, good comedy which doesnt rely on endless sexual and put down jokes.

I'm pretty impressed with it. I love Jason Lee, but I seriously doubted that the show would do well or even be that great. I stand corrected, it's hilarious. :)

my name is earl and the office is the best 1-2 knock out shows for me, unfortunately everytime i watch the shows i'm afraid that it'll go away from me. These shows just seem too good for general audience, know what i mean? same fear i had w/ arrested development, it was getting awards and praise but looked what happened. :(

and i know i said i like this show up at the top of the thread... and I do like it, but yeah... it's more of a smirk show than a LOL2DETH show. The cast more makes it enjoyable for me than the writing whereas shows like AD and Office have both barrels firing.
