I've just finished my first listen to this, and I have to say I've never heard anything like it. I'm totally off-balance. I'll write more after a few more listens.

I've been listening to it bit on JJJ radio as its their album of the week atm.They played a lot of his earlier album a year or so ago and I must say I'm impressed. Been meaning to get hold of the cd . A funny discription of him I heard was " Johnny Cash doing hip hop" .

I've heard that before but Tom Waits seems more on the mark to me.
