I think that the Prodigy is actually a pretty good chance... I mean, it seems that they're serious about an album actually coming out in 2006

and I am actually looking forward to it - believe it or not. Basically because of the strength of "Warning"

and yea - Primals album is supposed to come out in February!

Well, I still think AONO was a fucking fun album, so I'm looking forward to the promised late-2006 album.

next year i'll be mostly listening to the new longcut album *if they can translate their live sound onto record*

or even my bloody valentine...

i wouldn't hold your breath, i've heard rumours Island got bored of writing cheques and after being told nothing in return nor getting to hear anything so they pulled the plug years ago, not before allegedly having spent more money than loveless took to record:D

i read an interview with kevin shields around the time he contributed to the lost in translation soundtrack in which he said he destroyed the master tapes from those sessions as he wasn't happy because the sounds on tape weren't matching the sounds he could hear in his head (theres a surprise :D ) Although he did say he remembers 5 songs being good enough and he'll re-record them when he gets around to making a new album, which won't be an mbv album, because mbv are in the past

he need not worry, loveless still sounds ahead of its time nearly 15 years after it was released

UNKLE

Massive Attack

damn. you totally jinxed it

...on both of them. Although I'd say it's better odds for UNKLE than MA, UNKLE have already gotten some tracks done (Burn My Shadow), recorded music, and added vocals to at least a few tracks. Oh, and Junkie XL is going to (or already has) remixed "Burn My Shadow"

...which is a kick ass song!

That track from the Goal! soundtrack is great too...

Actually on the MA site, there's a quote from 3D saying he's almost done with a new album...
