So, a new live verison S T A R. It keeps the Bells & Circles stabs, and the sweeping pads and snare drums from Play the Road. But Rick's dropped the Lenny Penne percussion and replaced it with a different drum pattern. I don't recognize it as recycled from anywhere. Also, added the ascending tones and strings at the end. Also, the new verse from last year is in there. It's the one that ends with "Greta T"

Much appreciation for this Yan. Were you at the show?? I was up in the VIP section . Had a nice Birds Eye view. Kelly Lee Owens played a pretty decent DJ set. Not sure if anyone else noticed some UW elements in her sounds - they were subtle, but they were there. It was a nice nod. Wish I could have gotten a picture of the screen on the back that read "from romford to los angeles". Guess I should check IG... maybe someone posted it...

Thanks Yannick! I was scouring the youtubes for a decent recording of Techno Shinkansen and there wasn't much there (bad quality, not the full track). There's a video of the full (almost) Mexico set that contains it, but it's got more Mexican people talking loudly over it.


This track sounds amazing btw. Really my kind of vibe. Deep, dark, driving like a bullet train through a cyberpunk version of Japan. Hope it gets a proper release! Sadly they didn't play it at all during the Amsterdam gigs.
