Hey, random request here.
Awhile back (pre Barking's release) I had a bootleg with a version of .NUXX that started with the WOooWOooWOoooWOoo opening (similar to 2003 Melbourne, but not that one.) I had it burned to a CD but the HD that had a lot of my gigs died and I lost a bunch including that one.
What I remember isn't a lot to go on, but it was a killer .NUXX version and the sound quality was as an A if not A+.
If anyone has any info on that particular version of .NUXX, please pass along.
Thanks in advance!

Hmmm... so the intro sounded like how "Moaner" was on the John Peel show?
But it was NUXX..?
That sounds familiar - I'll check my files.

Yep, it had that Peel-Moaner sound. They've used it a few times for .NUXX (Melbourne 2003 is the only one I know off-hand tho.)

Hm. Well, I don't think I was able to find it, but if you keep looking, probably the 2002-2003 shows are the best places to look. They used that woo-woo-woo sample a lot then. I heard it before Pearl's Girl on one recording, and I found it at the beginning of NUXX at Electraglide 2003, but that's an audience recording, so probably not the one you're looking for.

Yeah def. not Electraglide. And the Pearl's Girl is Werchter 2003 I believe. So that timeframe sounds about right. I'll keep looking – I have an old HD offsite backup at my dad's house. Not sure if my UW shows would be on there but I'm gonna get it from him this weekend and check.
Thanks tho!

well, I checked through my files - and despite remembering the version of Nuxx you mentioned... I totally don't have it anymore, unfortunately.
Also my collection of live recordings has significantly dropped between HD crashes and moving into new apartments, etc etc

sorry for the lack of update. I got my HD from my dad's house and couldn't find it either.
Closest I could find was .NUXX from Beincassm 2005. I have one last option - i burned a bunch of live shows to CD for a friend back around that time. Gonna have him go thru them
