"Some of DFA'S latest and greatest all mixed into a 50 minute set by Tim Sweeney and Tim Goldsworthy at a knock-down, bargain price... including tracks from Black Dice, LCD Soundsystem, Juan Maclean & Delia Gonzalez, with remixes from Luomo, Booka Shade, Soulwax, Tiga, Cajmere, Putsch 79 and Rub N Tug."
So says the promotional text and its a great mix of stuff which really pumps its way thru a few classics and mashed up tracks, especially the 6 versions of Give Me Every Little Thing by The Juan MacLean which are mixed into 2 tracks. All in all its little more than a mixed sampler for DFArecords but for £2.99/AU$8.95/$6.50/€4.50 aint bad at all. Check out Juno (http://www.juno.co.uk/products/194638-01.htm) in the UK for art and samples but you cant go wrong really. The only problem i had was that EMI in their infinite stupidity have made it Copy Controlled but with auto-play off and using EasyCDDA8, i was able to rip it to mp3 with no problems.

'The Holiday Mix 2005' is also an Anorak's delight, I can just imagine them rustling away in anticipation, of getting their sweaty little mitts on a copy, because it's gonna be in the shops from Oct 31st until January 2006 only, then it will be deleted. The other bonus is that it retails for the price of a CD single. Be careful in that crush now.'
