Is the fact that there are no confirmed dates for next year just to stave off rumors of appearances at (insert dodgy name) festival, or is this very bad/sad news about our pals R&K?

Last few months have shown little notice on addition to a lineup. Seems to be a trend in festivals as a whole. The South American cream dates were announced something like a month before, I wouldn't take it as a portent in one direction or the other.

Anyone got a wishlist for the coming year? A few things I'd like to see:
1) Some form of setlist shakeup?
Even if certain key songs stay the same (Rez always opens, TMO is always 4th, etc.) there's way to many songs that would fit the current vibe they have live to not change it up a bit. I dig where they've gone with the current setup, they've managed to find a way to reignite the unrelenting and heavy fan/band jam vibe from the first 8 years within a static setlist, but an updated Kittens or Rowla or DA3D tossed into the rotation would be fantastic! I'm sure they can find some real curveballs in their sack of tricks too.
2) Tour dates?
Maybe the states? Please? An actual tour of their own would be really cool and could possibly allow for a bit more freedom than the festival shows have (relating to above). That and I don't particularly wanna pay $$$ just to see them in a crowd that isn't there JUST to see them...
3) Studio Material?
The Olympics stuff is fantastic, and Edgelands still gets play from me regularly, but something from the pair would be the best. It's been a little while and there were new sounds among all that VW stuff...
Any of you had any thoughts on the coming year for R&K?

I'd settle for a tour where the setlist changes. Simple as that. Otherwise I dont think I'll be seeing them this year. I'm not going to go the extra mile(s) and fly somewhere to see them. I'd like to see them at least once this year but only if the setlist has changed.

Its been since 2010 they last came to the states and it was one of the best shows ive seen of theirs - static setlist and all. Met some great dirts that night as well as hung out with some that i'd met before - even two from that fateful day in London /shiver.
Roseland Ballroom NYC is the perfect venue for the boys. Lets do that one again!

Heck, I'll settle for just about anyplace in the states. I've had to fly halfway across the country the last two times, but seeing how spotty the tours have been lately, I'm going to try my damnedest to see them regardless of the location. It's been almost 7 years since that Hollywood Bowl show.....

Whoa, that's like a month out. I'd have imagined there'd be more warning after such an extended absence. Wonder if it'll be a new setlist or not... *crosses fingers*

So, interestingly, the St. Petersburg show does not appear to be a festival show. It looks like it's their own show. It's in a 5000-6000 seat arena. I'm not sure how the expect to fill it, especially with less than 2 weeks' notice.
The Moscow show sounds interesting. Apparently, it's in the woods, near the edge of a lake:

I was a little surprised to see Russia pop up considering all the geo-political stuff going on at the moment. As for the short notice, maybe they have been getting promoted locally and only just announced to the internet? The festival even includes a dress code, does the band have to follow it too?

???(I'm guessing KoS) to NUXX bridge:

NUXX:

NUXX Seems generally similar (certainly not identical) to most of the '13 sets. Even lacking the retro-flourishes we saw in South America.
aside: Youtube recommended this video to me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHH3sxDpxsc It's got the EE visuals from nuxx, but it's not the EE audio. It feels very familiar but I can't place it. Any guesses?

The footage from EE was taken from:
Fuji Rock Festival, Japan, July 1999
Pink Pop Festival, Holland, May 1999
Forest National, Belgium, May 1999
Glastonbury Festival, England, June 1998 & June 1999
Homelands Dublin, Ireland, September 1999
So, I think what you're seeing is the original source footage from one of those concerts.
