R&K seem on top form, no sign of any friction between them which I think some people thought was happening with both of them having new impending solo projects.

I think mainly it was just baseless speculation when we saw the news of Karl's solo album, and Rick's solo credited work on the soundtrack. There were subsequent interview articles (and a press release), where they made clear that they were still continuing as Underworld in addition to their solo projects.

You'd be forgiven for thinking you'd wandered into a Chems gig ;)

haha, can totally see that. (they've been using that riff for awhile now (not the Jack part) as a lead into KoS.

Loads of footage up on Youtube, seems like the guy who took that Everybody Jack -> ALAF video got pretty much the whole concert:

And here's a video of the resurrected Jumbo (seems like they added some housey percussion):

I feel the basic sound of a lot of classics has changed (most significantly heading into 2010) due to changing gear over the years. While thats not a bad thing, I am really happy that jumbo sounds basically the same.

It's Mono anyway, so changing the EQ still isn't going to make it sound much better.

No need to rip, just download it directly (http://www.djarmandojms.com/music/mixes/Underworld%20-%20Insomnia%20Afterparty%20Setcast%20062%2C%20Live %20%40%20Mexico%20City%2017%20Mar%202013.mp3) or download it from iTunes (https://itunes.apple.com/podcast/insomnia-afterparty-setcast/id356347233).

Thanks for the link, and i guess something's better than nothing, but i spent two hours trying to download the thing (bitrate kept dropping to tiny levels) only to find that it sounds as if it were recorded inside a cardboard box that is also under water and being retrieved by loud fishermen!

;)
