They've got a backstage hangout dealy going on where they allow fans online to interact with the bands and stream it over youtube. Maybe the boys will make an appearance? It is all spanish language, so probably not. There's also a twitter scraper within their website that grabs tweets relevant to the artists currently on stage, we should be able to piece together a setlist from tonight's show from that, I suspect.

Underworld takes the stage live at Vive Latino 2013 in just under 3 hours. It will be broadcast on the web. This is the native stream (Channel 1: http://bit.ly/Coca-ColaTV), but it looks like it is region restricted to Mexico. This website appears to be re-broadcasting the stream to the world, however (at lower quality).

The stream died on my end during Pearl's Girl, but the band sounded great. Lots of variations on the songs.

Feed's back!
Is it just me or does "Everybody Jack" get a new part every time they bring it out? It's like a song with infinite bridges.

Feed dies out on me too. I just keep refreshing as needed. It's worth it though. They sound really good. Not rusty at all to me.

My feed has changed to another band, as it has done throughout the evening like during the Yeah Yeah Yeahs show. It should go back to Underworld if the past is any indication.

5. (Don't recognize it yet...) Hmmmm... "Push Upstairs" LONG time since I've heard this live...

The feed is being controlled by someone on their computer rebroadcast the official stream. The official stream has 3 channels, and this guy decided to change the channel to something other than UW.

Are you guys not getting switched to a latino band? I'm not seeing UW any longer.

No, I'm not watching, as I find that distracts me from the full audio experience. I'm listening to the broadcast on the Coca-Cola radio thingie

Did they do the standard intro for "Rez" or the uber-awesome slow intro from 1996, aka Reading Fest?

Thanx for pointing to the radiolink
Far better then the ska band. I like ska but this band needs a special kind of appreciation

03-15-2013, 11:43 PM
This feels quite a bit different, despite the similar setlist. I'm not surprised it's not a full new show or anything, as they've got 2 sets is all, but man this KoS and that train are/were awesome.

Yeah, the audio is pretty good. Not too dry, like last year's YouFest. The camera work is pretty good too.

It's not a bad version, it just doesn't seem to mix well for me, usually. There's parts where it doesn't seem to jell.

the 'team' that worked on those streams were rather succesful yeah if my memory. There weren't a load of live broadcasts in those days direct from festivals, but we managed to find them well in advance and publish links on the boards for all to listen. I think I remember at least 1 very tough stream we didn't get, it was packed within some layers in a flash thingy iirc, back when flash was new.

What we did get was posted on the ftp etc so yeah you prolly might have heard some of it.
great team work, people able to read bable fish 'translations' of even korean websites (hello ricky smith and kurlsack (or something close, it'll be on the boards archive somewhere)), loads of sniffers, rippers and website editprogs (my desktop was plastered with icons) did the trick, fun times.

No new stuff, then. Can't even be arsed to shake up the setlist. They're turining into an UW tribute act.
My expectations are too high, I suppose. I love this band.

THey've been rather apart for a while, so no change to the setlist isn't too surprising at this point. They did shuffle things up within songs (more so on sunday) however. Changing things up that drastically (even back to an old way of doing things) would require a bit of practice and time, I imagine, which they haven't had together as of late. I don't feel they are phoning in these sets at least even if they aren't a 2 hour jam session.

Curious note: we have five soundboard recordings from 2010, but not a single one from the last two and a half years... That's not surprising: according to the gigography (http://uwlive.rowla.com/) they stopped touring in 2011
Ah, I should get it up to date. I figured that everyone knew what they played anyway :)
