Holy shit, new Death in Vegas album!?!?:)
yea - but it's just Richard Fearless solo...
"Satan's Circus" was nice and all... but I'm hoping that the new album will be a bit more 'complex'

so what do you guys think of the album? It officially came out today.
I've only had a chance to listen to like... the first few tracks so far (had it on while I was running some errands) - it actually surprised me.
there are definitely portions of songs that "sound like DiV" but it definitely sounds different than what I was expecting... like some bits reminded me a little of Carl Craig, others like 1991/1993/1994 era Depeche Mode (like some middle point between Violator & SoFaD), and once the vocal comes in on... "Your Loft My Acid" I was like 'woah - this sounds like Moby (not in a bad way)
I was actually worried it was going to sound like that horrible Richard Fearless solo single that came out a few years ago under the "Black Acid" alias
but again - I haven't listened to the whole x2 cd release (I bought the 'deluxe version' on iTunes) and I was sort of walking around the city doing stuff at the time, so I wasn't REALLY paying attention all the time

Had it on repeat also - it's a really great album. Ordered the 2xCD version.

Got my 2xCD set in the mail this weekend and have been giving it a go. Not the best DIV album but certainly not the worst. Many great tracks and its still growing on me. It is having to compete with new Tycho, MuteMath, and Kasabian albums too!:D
