I can browse slsk.org and slsknet.org. the test shows my ports are open. . .

I get this:

Could not connect to server. If your Internet connection is up, the server might be temporarily down. Please try again later.

Anyone else hving problems?

yeah, what with all the more direct paths of stealing music [or trading legal bootlegs and indie recordings], such as torrent, FTP, direct connect etc., i'm surprised anyone still uses P2P.

Remember Audiogalaxy (https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Audiogalaxy)? Ahhh, those were the days... ;)

there was actually a dirty.org group on audiogalaxy back then...members could "send" tracks to others...discovered some great stuff thanks to some people here...

I still use Soulseek when other avenues fail me. These days most albums are found quickly through google but slsk still comes up trumps for rare singles and stuff.

Audiogalaxy was definitely the best though and is sadly missed.
