Unforturnately, I can not make this show due to other plans throughout this month and next.
I would have loved to meet up with the Pro and others were I able to. And not just to try to get some free music. :D

I opted for a trip to NYC instead of SF this time around out of lack of confirmation at first for the San Diego show happening, then the prospect of both LA & SF being more festival-y based type shows. This will be the first time since 02 I think that I haven't gone down to SF when they've been that far north of LA.

Hey Professor,
I'd be down for a meet-up that evening. I'm going solo, and pretty sketched about the 16 and up festival vibe. Would be good to have some solidarity if it all goes to $hit.
Drop me a private message...
Cheers - Rik

on one hand i cant give a fuck about the rest of the line up and the cow palace is just a screaming edifice of NO,
however, to have a couple other ppl around means it'd be hard to have a bad time, plus theres underworld and all that
probably cant get time off from work tho

Yeah, it's not as if there's anything outside of the huge parking lot, huh? Sadly, I can't make this show, but I'll just throw these ideas out: Geneva seems to be the only part of civilization within walking distance. I think there's a cafe around there somewhere and if Pizza Palace is still there, I've heard that's at least a step above McDonalds/KFC.

there's an excellent bar called The Broken Record at 1166 Geneva and it's about 1 mile west of the Cow Palace, which is also on Geneva. if you're driving, there will be plenty of street parking near the bar and if you're a public transport type then it's a short 5 minute ride on the MUNI 54 or 8 bus.
