High Tension

If you haven't seen this crazy ass foreign film then do yourself a favor and check it out cause it's one of the best horror films out there now! Very disturbing imagery and lots of tense action keep you glued to the screen (except when you cringe away going "Oh my God! He got fucked up bad!" and I aint no horror lightweight either).

The last quarter of the film is love it or hate it material.....;)

Must see film. If you're man enough.:D

Rented High Tension and Undead (Australian zombie flick) tonight. Got around to watching Undead (which is nice and gory but overly-cheesy) tonight and I'll be watching High Tension tomorrow if I have time. After reading up on it and hearing reviews, I'm a bit hesitant. I dig scary stuff but ultra-violence, brutality and torture don't sit too well with me. Maybe I shouldn't watch it.

It does have it's flaws....but I wouldn't call it crap.

Some of my friends did though....:p

It doesn't hold up well to repeat viewings (mainly cause the ending doesn't make sense if you put it all back into the equation) and the movie has some serious timing/pacing issues and some slack dialogue but for a first time viewing it freaked me out and had me going "Oh shit!" quite a bit, so I'd still recommend it for a cheap thrill.:)

this is a familiar story but... worth saying. if you have an option, try and see the original french cut with pre-MPAA gore and no voice dubbing. it doesn't make the ending any better but at least the gore moments are a bit more rewarding.

of course you could always turn it off before the last 15 minutes and have it be just a decent slasher flick :)

well it was quite a good film
i liked it specially the end
it lived upto its name and was really a high tension drama
am waiting for more like them in the future
