I think that their new CD is called GENERATION, and it included a weid danceable song based on Nancy Sinatra's Shot you down track.

just got it from Soulseek, and it sounds pretty good -although pretty repetitive aswell.

Wanna see them live:)

Wait, you haven't yet heard Shot You Down??? Is Mexico on Mars or something???

And no, you don't want to see them live, it's one of the most horrible acts I've ever seen.

amazingly i agree with Leon and he has crap musical taste. Audio Bullys are crap. This tune has been whored all over MTV etc and was tired sounding when it was released. You take out the sample and its nothing. And don't even bother going to see them live. Drum machine + bloke shouting do not a band maketh. Uninspiring is a word which would flatter them.

I love crap music.

Anyway, the bloke shouting isn't even shouting, he's just mumbling. I found him really ignorant. I can stand ignorance if the performance is good, but it wasn't, they actually played I Shot You Down as the opener AND the ender track. I'd rather shit my own pants than going to another one of their performances.

The new audio bullys [edit]material is crap.
But if you look back in the forum you can see that I already opened a thread about there new album.

I went with Leon to a audio bullys performance at a festival...and we were both pissy afterwards..it was fucking crap. A fucking waste of our time actually.

It just looked like the dj pressed play (I think this is a problem for loads of artists who play electronic music) and waved his hand every 10 minutes. The singer was terrible aswell.

I liked that song, I was kind of surprised when I listened to it at their website.

and I was seriously thinking about going to see them, at that crappy thirld world Creamfields franchise, featuring Audio Bullys, Stellastar, and tons of other trance/proggressive shit.

Well I'm not telling you what to do, but in my opinion, sitting in a corner begging for money is less wasting time than seeing the Audio Bullys perform. I actually would like to ask the whole Dirty community to boycot them because they REALLY don't deserve the respect they get.
Ah well, if they go on with cheesy singles like Shot You Down, they'll get respect by Breezah-sluts and prettyboys anyway. If that's what they want...

well i gotta say that i love the Audio Bullys for the most part, but i will agree, their LIVE show leaves something to be desired. i've never been to one, but i have one of their shows on video, and visually it's pretty damn boring. now their DJ sets are superb, and you shouldn't miss those.
re: the new album, it's got way too many tracks for one (15 + 2 interludes. second, it's got some mellow tracks about love and such, which should be b-sides, not album tracks. but there are some great tracks on there like Generation, I Won't Let You Down, Made Like That (which features Roots Manuva), Take You There, Rock Til I'm Rollin, and the best one which is All Sing Along. i wouldn't write them off, just skip the shitty tracks. i mean, they only released Shot You Down because Radio 1 DJ's caned the thing. it was a white label, and Radio 1 made it their mission to get it release. Record Company now sees $$$ and slaps it on everything, including the first song on the album - bad artistic decision - it's horribly out of place.
bottom line - good album worth buying, and skip the live shows, check the DJ sets.
