Dirties,

Has anyone listened to and enjoyed the triumphant return of Way Out West? "Don't Look Now" was released about a year ago, and it's still in heavy rotation! i didn't think they could follow up the excellent trance of "Intensify", but they have, and succeed by updating/chilling their sound. Of course, nothing was made of this release in the US, but around the world, whatdidyouthink?

haven't heard it; but was listening to the freestylers' fabric live mix and there's a track called "killer" by scam, with a vocal that goes "now this one's called "killer"!"

how strange...

Yes, that SCAM track features the same vocal sample (not sure where it's from), but is a kind of reggae-scratching track. The Way Out West track, "Killa" is a 9+ minute giant that builds for 4 minutes with dirty bass and chanting vocals before erupting into a breakbeat with that vocal quote.

Anyway, a great album all-in-all, with a new vocalist, Omi, on some beautiful downtempo cuts. Just wondering if anyone's heard "Don't Look Now"
