anyone else got this? typical Diplo style....lots of Dancehall mixed with weird electro and, well, whatever comes his way. the tracklist is so ludicrously craptastic that everyone should scream in delight!

my favourite parts are Model 500 into Aphex Twin and Cure -> Outkast -> Le Tigre -> DJ Nasty

Diplo messed up really bad while DJing for M.I.A. in Miami...Not related to Fabric Live but I thought I'll mention it...:p

hehe, some of the transitions in the above mentioned mix aren't the best either, but the track selection makes up for it :)

at least he didn't construct the mix in a computer and then sell it as a live mix. That's the excitement of a Diplo set. He's going to put shit you'd never expect to hear together and then make it bounce. i typically hate DJ's who don't beatmatch perfectly, but Diplo is a different beast. His flubs come from being adventurous and frankly, there's not enough people expanding the bounds in DJ sets.

Nah, he was just playing the M.I.A. backing tracks (stuff from Piracy Funds Terrorism mostly), he was playing that Jay-Z track (i forgot the name of it) and while he was changing records it skipped or something and the whole thing went to hell, everyone had a laugh, M.I.A. started improvising over something else and then told him to get his shit together and play the Jay-Z track again..and they started from the beginning. I've never see him spin a proper DJ Set so I don't know how he is about transitions.
