Its using Skype so you'll need install Skype but on the plus side, it works with all Skype versions on Windows / Mac / Linux, and has history log going back 2 weeks (unlike IRC when you log off you dont get the messages you miss). Should also work with Skype for Mobile Phones.

OS? skype version? skype name? Early on I had the problem with the fact that Skype is limited to people joining only when the creator is in the chat. I logged off, no-one could log on. Fixed it by promoting a few people and leaving myself logged just in case.

But you can always say hello. Sometimes it takes someone saying something to restart the chat. People make the mistake of thinking that theres chat 24/7.

The chat room needs more people! Skype has been updated to version 5 on both Windows and MacOS and seems to be uber compatible now.

Please say if you cant get in!

Try clicking the Skype icon in the upper-right corner of every page on this site. It should take you right there.

I did - and it opens a new browser window in Safari and brings the Skype interface to the front, but doesn't actually take me anywhere :/

I'm sure I'm just being massively special but hopefully I'll be able to get it to work at some point!
