I want to make mixtape using classic electronic music pieces. To this day I got:

1) Orbital - Lush
2) Underworld - Rez
3) Deadmau5 - Strobe
4) Way Out West - We Love Machines
5) Spooky - Stereo

So this is the style, its not about beat, its about electronic - song called Stereo by Spooky is good example of the style im thinking about. Can you guys help me to add some pieces to make mixtape happen?:)

Thanks and happy new year for you all:)

hmm
I really wouldn't classify Deadmau5 as "classic"

especially as there's no Orb on your list
or Leftfield

and a track released in 2009 isn't "classic" either ;)

I've become more of an Aphex Twin fan lately, and some of his songs would go good on that compilation. Maybe Digeridoo or something off of Selected Ambient Works 85-92.

I'd say some Kraftwerk, but their sound might not mesh well with the majority of your playlist. You could always make a Kraftwerk playlist. In that case, add the songs Computer Love and Neon Lights. :D

Also, Mosaic from Underworld could go good on that list.

Another tracks:

William Orbit - Water From a Wine Leaf
Leftfield - Cut For Life
Future Sound Of London - Calcium
Leftfield - Song Of Life (Underworld's Steppin Razor mix)
Orbital- Remind
Dj Sasha-Xpander

(Yes deadmau5 is not classic. but the sound of the track Strobe reminds classic electronic music.)

Acperience - Hardfloor. Absolute classic.
Love the Hardfloor version of New Orders Blue Monday too......

Instead of Orbitals Remind do Mindstream (Mind The Bend The Mind - Orbital Mix)
Meat Beat Manifesto... Essentially what Remind is based on but with vocals ;)

Stereo is great. Mono is also tho, and of course Little Bullet (especially the live version on the Bamboo 12").

Better stick some Fluke on there somewhere too.

Check out the R&S Vintage compilations and Trance Europe Express CDs too.

Thank you very much for the inspiration;)
Fluke, CJ Bolland, Meat Beat Manifesto and Hardfloor are great choices.

I also like a lot: Mystic Force - Psychic Harmony (1994)

Sacred Cycles - Peter Lazonby... This is a classic! :cool:Brilliant recommendation, flywaver. I just wet my pants a little bit.

It's on the ace Robert Miles - In The Mix (1997) (http://www.discogs.com/Robert-Miles-Robert-Miles-In-The-Mix/release/250666), one of my first purely electronic music purchases.
