Ok - so apparently some guy found a audio reel at a street sale in Philadelphia
the reel is from the Sigma Sound Studio recording sessions for the "Young Americans" album

the tape contains four tracks: "Young Americans", "After Today", "I'm a Laser", and "Shilling of Rubes"

...the last two tracks have long been said to "not exist" - as in... "nope Bowe never recorded those songs, it was just a rumor"

"Young Americans" is at least an alternate take, and "After Today" is either an alternate take of the released version from the "Sound+Vision Boxset" or it's an unreleased 'ballad version'

what's crazy, is that this guy has a second tape as well

aaaaaand - Bowie fans will probably never hear any of these tracks!

I wonder how much he paid for it at the sale

This reminds me of the VU Acetate that was discovered.

This is the kind of thing that needs to be played/ ripped/ disseminated and put into a safe deposit box
