Ok, who else besides me is going?
For KoS, Leon and Stimpee, "not me" is an unacceptable answer. ;)

I might be in the vicinity.
I was checking out the huge list of names and I found only a few worthwhile to check out. One of them is a party called Plat Du Jour, because Dâm-Funk is playing there. He made some really nice old-skool sounding electro-boogie/funk or whatever you call it. Check his "Toeachizown" EP's because they really take you back to the 80's. More info here:

I don't care for the other DJ's playing that night, so after Dâm-Funk I'll probably check out some techno party. Will let you know which one.

Yeah, the sheer number of acts is almost intimidating.

haven't checked the schedule yet but for sure I will be there at some point. I heard Yannick was coming over as well? Should be fun (where fun=drunk)

shit. im listening to this DamFunk album. and its dawning on me that its not very good at all. in fact its cheesy lounge shit that belongs in the late 70s with speakers covered in shagpile carpets and the band smoking pipes while dressed in big flares and sporting huge afros. even stevie wonder in his "i just called to say I love you" phase wouldnt have touched this with a shitty stick. *clicks off*
song titles: Electrik Breeze, Chocolate, She Lights Me Up, Sunset, Galactic Fun
I must have been smoking some serious shit the first time i listened to this. Leon: what are you on? your cheese-o-meter has been bypassed by smoking copious amounts of indica i think.
KoS: mmm tickets for Pitch Black. Not a bad idea but I dont think it will sell out. I'll be in touch this week.

probably won't sell out, but it is a tiny place so you never know.
Thought I might as well get my ticket beforehand.

While I don't like all Dam-Funk's tracks, I just think the sound is cool and you shouldn't take it too seriously.
I'm going to see Dam-Funk on the thirsday and I'll be going to the Sugar Factory on Saturday where Oliver Huntemann and Stephan Bodzin are playing.

Innervisions party > all the other ones
Innervisions party > all the other ones
Good to hear :) I expected it to be good.
I went to Bitterzoet to see Dam-Funk and in all its tongue-in-cheekiness it was awesome. The DJ afterwards killed it though. So we went to the Sugar Factory (I can get in for free because I work there) and amongst others there was Francious K. playing. It was allright.
On Wednesday I also last minute decided to go Chris Liebing in club Home. It was boring.
Tonight I'm working (Sugar Factory) and I don't know any of the DJ's that are playing, I'll let you guys know.

I really enjoyed Digweed but then I'm a bit of a fanboy :)
Pitch Black were great as well, doing a proper live set.

Pitch Black were fantastic. This was labeled as 'downtempo' on the ADE which couldn't have been more wrong. It was upbeat dancey stuff for almost the whole set.

Jason missed his opportunity to say that Francois K was on his flight back to New York... Or was it that Jason was on Francois K's flight?
